The next day of our arrival we came here, near French Harbor. It’s a good logistic base for our program.
We start shooting on Monday about our topic “coral reefs and global warning” The weather is strange. We are eager to discuss about it with the specialist in Miami. The low are starting in the Golfe of Mexico, drift North-East and become right away very strong disturbing the whole trade wind pattern in the Caribbean basin.

We are still anchored in front of “Fantasy Island Resort”. A cold front from the North, quite strong and our video shootings incited us to stay longer in Roatan.
We are planning to set sails tomorrow morning for Miami. We were able to meet and interview the directors of ‘Roatan Marine Park”, “Coral Reef Alliance” and “Roatan Institute for Marine Sciences” which act every day to preserve the coral reef and the biodiversity in general.
